Knox Goes Away
Michael Keaton directs Michael Keaton in Knox Goes Away, and gets a terrific performance out of himself. He is as good as he ever was in this quirky crime thriller.
When a contract killer has a rapidly evolving form of dementia, he is offered an opportunity to redeem himself by saving the life of the adult son with whom he had been estranged.
This is Keaton’s film to carry every step of the way, and he turns in a typically fine and layered performance as a man who might find relief in the loss of his memories, given all the dark acts he’s committed.
