Housewives Alice and Celine are best friends and neighbors who seem to have it all.

However, when a tragic accident shatters the harmony of their lives, guilt, suspicion and paranoia begin to unravel their sisterly bond.

The film’s less-is-more approach creates genuinely creepy moments, allowing plenty of space for scene-stealing experts like Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway to play. And both are skilled at being sympathetic and suspicious at the same time.

What was The Flicks?

The legendary Flicks Community Movie Houses were the most comfortable little movie theaters in Phnom Penh, from June 2009 to August 2021, showcasing the blockbusters, documentaries, foreign films and international film festival winners on the big screens in a fully air-conditioned movie rooms that seated 32 people.
