Viet and Nam

Two young coal miners, Nam and Việt, work in the dangerous depths of underground mines.

They cherish their time together, knowing that Việt will soon leave for a new life overseas.

However, before Việt can depart, they must complete an important mission: finding Nam’s father, a fallen soldier whose remains lie somewhere in a distant forest.

Guided by memories and dreams, the two friends journey to uncover the past and provide Nam’s father with a proper resting place.

Patiently paced and drenched in melancholy atmosphere, Viet and Nam is a quietly affecting love story that gently pulls at the heartstrings.
