Moving On

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin star as estranged friends who reunite to seek revenge on the petulant widower (Malcolm McDowell) of their recently deceased best friend.

Along the way, Fonda’s character reunites with her great love (Richard Roundtree) as each woman learns to make peace with the past and each other.

Tomlin brings out Fonda’s best, rounding out those brittle edges, as their characters continue to have wild adventures and evolve — letting go and moving on — long past their eligibility for Social Security.

The legendary Flicks Community Movie House was the most comfortable little movie theater in Phnom Penh, from June 2009 to August 2021, showcasing the blockbusters, documentaries, foreign films and international film festival winners on the big screen in a fully air-conditioned movie room that seated 32 people.
